10 Natural Ways To Clean Your Lungs

Our lungs are the most ignored organ of our body. Daily, they are exposed to killer pollutants and microbes that get deposited from the air you inhale.

In the case of smokers, their healthy pink lungs turn black with the deposition of tar in their lungs. Regular detoxification of lungs will help in smooth functioning and help in expulsion of toxins.

Take a look at 10 ways you can cleanse your lungs naturally.

1. Discard dairy

Get rid of all the dairy products, this will help your body exclude the toxins during the cleanse.

2. Bring on the green tea!

Drink a cup of your favourite herbal green tea before bed to release toxins in the intestine that can lead to constipation. Refrain from overloading your lungs with tedious work during this purification process.

3. Lemons rule

In a tall glass of warm water, add a quarter cup of lemon juice and drink it before breakfast. You can also opt for a glass of pineapple or cranberry juice instead of lemon juice.

4. Grapefruit juice

Grapefruit juiceDrink 300ml of grapefruit juice. If you do not like the taste, you can replace it with pineapple juice. These juices contain natural antioxidants that improve the breathing system.

5. Potassium Rich Drinks

For lunch, indulge in potassium rich drinks to clean your lungs. Cantaloupe, oranges, chikoo, banana, sweet potato, carrots, tomatoes, spinach, apricots, figs, dates and berries are all rich in potassium.

-Stand up, keep your arms at your sides, keep your feet a little apart, and relax.

-Take several deep breaths, breathe in through your nose and exhale through your mouth until you can’t exhale anymore.

-Make you Diaphragm let out all of the air from your lungs by heavily gasping. Make sure to exhale through your mouth a few times until there isn’t any air left in your lungs.

-Inhale through your nose and let the fresh air into your empty lungs.

-Take a deep breath in and make sure to fully fill up your lungs with air. Hold your breath for 5 seconds, counting slowly. Every cell in your body should be filled with oxygen at this point.

-Exhale one last time through your mouth until there’s no more air left.
You can repeat steps 4-6 as many times as you want. This is a great way to help keep your lungs strong!
